Overview

Globalist Notes (the "Site") publishes independent Hyatt hotel stay reviews intended to help travelers make informed booking decisions. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit the Site, read hotel reviews, watch embedded media, or send feedback.

Information We Collect

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, referring URL, requested page, timestamp, and security signals. We use this information for site security, abuse prevention, performance monitoring, and aggregate analytics.
  • Language preference. The Site may set a small gn_locale cookie to remember the language you selected and route future visits to the appropriate English or Korean page.
  • Analytics and advertising data. The Site uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device or browser identifiers, page URLs, referrers, and ad interaction data to measure traffic, prevent fraud, serve ads, and measure ad performance.   • Embedded media and external services. Pages may include or link to YouTube, Instagram, Google Maps, hotel websites, Cloudflare Images, Cloudflare Stream, and other third-party services. Those services may process information under their own privacy policies.
  • Voluntary feedback. If you use the Contact or feedback form, we receive the message you submit, optional contact details, the page context, and basic technical metadata needed to review the request. Feedback messages may be delivered to the site operator through Telegram so we can respond or correct published content.

We do not sell personal information.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate and secure the Site, understand aggregate traffic, measure whether hotel review pages are useful to readers, respond to feedback, correct outdated or unclear content, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Advertising Choices

Advertising on the Site may be contextual or personalized depending on your location, browser settings, Google settings, and applicable consent requirements. You can manage Google ad personalization at Google Ad Settings and can also limit cookies through your browser settings. Retention and Security

Hosting, analytics, advertising, media, and messaging providers may retain data under their own policies. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we use reputable infrastructure providers and limit access to operational tools.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site, advertising setup, analytics tools, or legal requirements change. The date below reflects the latest revision.
