Hyatt House LAX/Manhattan Beach is a three-story property offering apartment-style accommodations that feel more like a short-term residence than a traditional hotel. The full kitchen is a convenient touch, complete with a microwave, dishwasher, pots, and tableware (though note there is no oven). The layout is ideal for travelers who prefer an Airbnb-style living space. Despite the proximity to the airport, the rooms are remarkably quiet, with almost no airplane or exterior noise. The location is well-positioned for accessing LAX, as well as Manhattan Beach, Torrance, and the broader West LA area.

The Hyatt House LAX/Manhattan Beach is located near LAX airport. The landscaping around the main entrance is well-kept, providing a neat first impression for guests arriving at or departing from the airport.

We booked a Two-Bedroom Suite directly rather than relying on a suite upgrade. Our ground-floor unit featured hardwood floors instead of carpet, which felt clean and fresh. While the sofa was on the smaller side, we rarely used it during our long-term stay, and the spacious dining area was more than sufficient for light meals or working. Each bedroom included both a long wardrobe and a walk-in closet, making it easy to store golf bags and large suitcases. The ground-floor unit also featured a dedicated pet door, a thoughtful touch.

A fire pit is available, adding to the atmosphere in the evenings. While direct charging via a Tesla-specific cable is not possible, there are EVgo electric vehicle chargers on-site.

Before You Book

Hyatt House LAX/Manhattan Beach has several similarly named Hyatt House and Hyatt Place locations nearby, so verify the exact hotel name before arrival. The property has a three-story, apartment-style layout where room doors open directly to the exterior. This makes moving from the parking lot to the room very convenient and allows for better natural ventilation and lighting than a typical hotel. As of our May 2026 visit, mattress replacements were underway. Note that in the LA area, you cannot stay in the same room for more than 28 consecutive days, so a mid-stay checkout is required for long-term guests.
