It is especially convenient for those driving, as the underground parking garage offers a welcome escape from the Southern California sun and includes EV charging stations. The property is well-suited for travelers who prioritize efficient space and value over luxury.

The room layouts are notably spacious, a significant plus for families. While there is no club lounge, the complimentary breakfast is a major benefit for guests heading out for a full day at Disneyland. Room Upgrade Experience

Room on this staySpecialty Family Suite w/ Bunk Beds | King Bed (plus sofa bed)

The Specialty Family Suite maximizes the Hyatt Place brand's signature living area, making it a practical choice for families. Beyond the king-bedded room, the living area includes bunk beds, providing three distinct sleeping spots—or up to four if you use the sofa bed. A semi-transparent partition helps separate the bedroom from the living space. We found the integrated wooden headboards, lighting, and nightstands with built-in charging ports very convenient. The bathroom is well-designed for families, with ample towels stocked on the vanity shelf. While the layout—moving from the entrance through the bedroom to the living area—differs from a standard hotel room, it proved efficient for sharing space with children.

Breakfast Experience

Complimentary breakfast

The complimentary breakfast is a major advantage of this Hyatt Place. According to the signage, it runs from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on weekends, allowing for an early start to match Disneyland's opening hours. Served at The Placery, the breakfast goes beyond a basic continental offering, including hot items like egg dishes, hash browns, and waffles. While it lacks the elaborate spread of a luxury hotel buffet, it is a practical, cost-effective way to fuel up for a long day at the park.

We checked the breakfast hours posted at the entrance during our stay at Hyatt Place Anaheim Resort. Breakfast is served from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on weekends, which helped us plan our schedule.

Pools & Facilities Experience

Outdoor poolHot tub / spa

The outdoor pool and heated jacuzzi are well-suited for relaxing after a long day at Disneyland. The pool is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, allowing for flexible use.

The indoor underground parking was the most satisfying facility. It protects vehicles from the intense Southern California sun, and the direct access from the garage into the hotel via glass doors is very convenient. The EV charging facilities, including dedicated Tesla chargers, are well-maintained and useful. Additionally, The Placery on the lobby level stocks 24-hour essentials, snacks, and drinks, which was a great help during our irregular travel schedule.
