John F. Kennedy International Airport

Excellent proximity to JFK Airport and direct access to the Resorts World Casino make this a convenient hub for both airport layovers and New York City travel.
Hyatt Regency JFK Airport at Resorts World New York is well-positioned for both airport access and trips into New York City.
It functions as more than just a transit hotel; it’s a practical base for balancing airport logistics with Manhattan sightseeing. The connection to the AirTrain and public transit makes commuting to the city straightforward, while the adjacent Resorts World Casino keeps the area lively well into the evening.
Hotel facilities are modern and well-maintained. During my stay, I received a suite upgrade as a World of Hyatt Globalist, and the room’s Le Labo amenities made for a comfortable experience.
The One-Bedroom Suite provided as a Globalist benefit was spacious and comfortable, feeling a world away from the typical airport hotel. The layout includes a separate living room and bedroom, plus a convenient half-bath in the living area—a plus for families. The room is stocked with Le Labo Hinoki amenities, and the large bathroom features a soaking tub by the window. While the parking lot view is underwhelming, the interior itself is quite pleasant.
The Regency Club Lounge on the first floor is compact and quiet. It lacks the alcohol-focused happy hour found at many other Hyatt Regency properties, but it serves as a peaceful spot for a coffee. Unlimited wine and beer service was unavailable during my stay, though hotel information indicates it is typically offered from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; it is best to verify the current policy before your visit.
Breakfast in the lounge is a simple continental buffet. While the selection isn't extensive, it offers a solid range of essentials, including fresh fruit and pastries, which is perfectly adequate for an airport hotel.
Restaurants in the connected casino building stay open late, making it easy to grab a meal like noodles or dumplings if you arrive late in the evening.
There is no pool, but a 24-hour fitness center is available. Because it is directly connected to the Resorts World New York casino, the lobby feels more like a large resort complex than a standard hotel. The various dining options within the casino are useful if you need to adjust to a new time zone.
The hotel offers free self-parking. Avoiding parking fees near New York is a significant advantage, especially if you are using a rental car to explore the outskirts of the city or Long Island.
Other fees: A daily Destination Fee of approximately $25 is charged. This currently includes a $10 food and beverage credit for the Market, a $10 Uber credit, free parking, and fitness center access. Benefits may vary by stay, and your out-of-pocket cost can differ based on your Globalist status and booking type, so please confirm the specific inclusions at the front desk upon check-in.
Late checkout was honored on this stay: 4 PM
The hotel is more accessible than a typical transit hotel, as you can reach Manhattan via the AirTrain at JFK Airport and public transit. Because it is attached to the Resorts World New York casino, dining and leisure options are available late into the night. A daily Destination Fee is currently charged, which includes food and beverage credits and Uber credits; be sure to reconfirm the policy when booking.
