This Stay at a Glance

Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport is a full-service property located just steps from LAX. Positioned between the airport and downtown Los Angeles, it is a practical choice for those with early departures or late-night arrivals. The breakfast is surprisingly excellent; it is worth noting that you may feel like you missed out if your flight schedule prevents you from enjoying it fully. While the surrounding area is busy with active flight paths, the rooms are well-soundproofed and quiet, making them ideal for resting after a long-haul flight.

Room Upgrade Experience

Room on this stayOne Bedroom King Suite with Accessible Shower

We stayed in a One-Bedroom King Suite with Accessible Shower. The layout is expansive—feeling like three standard rooms combined—and includes a separate living room and a dedicated meeting room. The meeting room is well-equipped for business, featuring a conference table and a TV with HDMI connectivity. The living area behind it is equally spacious; while the sofa was somewhat uncomfortable due to its shallow depth, the suite's overall sense of openness was a highlight. The 1.5-bath configuration is convenient, though the 'Accessible Shower' design may not be for everyone. While the bathroom is large, the shower area itself feels cramped, and the shower curtain makes it prone to splashing while creating a somewhat dated, confined feel.

Breakfast Experience

Breakfast offers a choice between a buffet and a la carte options. The buffet features a standard selection of hot dishes, cold items, and pastries. Among the a la carte menu, the 'Rancheros' is worth trying for a taste of Southern California; it is bold and flavorful—perhaps a bit intense for some in the morning—but provides a distinct, authentic Mexican-inspired experience.
