This Stay at a Glance

Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport is a full-service airport hotel located right next to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Situated between the airport and downtown Los Angeles, it is a practical choice for stays before early departures or after late arrivals. The breakfast quality exceeded expectations, and it is worth noting that you may feel like you missed out if your flight schedule prevents you from fully enjoying it. While the surrounding area is busy with flight operations, the rooms are well-soundproofed and quiet, making them suitable for resting after a long-haul flight.

Room Upgrade Experience

Room on this stayOne Bedroom King Suite with Accessible Shower

The room was a One-Bedroom King Suite with Accessible Shower. It features a layout with a separate living room and meeting room, feeling as spacious as three combined rooms. The meeting room includes a conference TV with HDMI connectivity and a table, making it suitable for business tasks. The living area behind the meeting room is also generous. While the sofa was somewhat uncomfortable due to its shallow depth, the overall sense of openness was pleasant. The 1.5-bath layout, with a separate restroom in the living area, was convenient. However, the 'Accessible Shower' design may not be for everyone; while the bathroom is large overall, the actual shower area feels cramped, and the use of a shower curtain is prone to water splashing and can feel somewhat confining.

Breakfast Experience

Breakfast options include both a buffet and a la carte menu. The buffet features a standard selection of hot dishes, cold items, and bakery goods. Among the a la carte options, the 'Rancheros'—a dish reflecting Southern California's local flair—is worth trying. It may be a bit bold for breakfast, but the intense and rich flavors typical of Mexican cuisine were memorable.
