We didn't receive a suite upgrade, as all suites were occupied during our Sunday stay. Our 1 King Bed Mountain View room felt relatively spacious. The terrace was a highlight, providing a perfect vantage point to enjoy the dry, serene New Mexico landscape day and night.

Portions were generous enough that we skipped lunch, and the variety was decent. However, the menu leaned heavily on chili, nachos, and omelets, which could feel repetitive during a longer stay. The quality was generally excellent, and the local-style fried chili was a standout.

There are three pools, including an adults-only option and a water slide. During our off-season visit, only the main pool was open, and the slide was only available for limited hours on weekends.

Globalist guests have access to the spa facilities. The Finnish dry sauna, eucalyptus-scented steam room, and hot tub were well-maintained and were the highlight of our stay.

There are well-maintained walking trails around the resort, and bicycle rentals are available.

Explanations about golf access varied depending on who we asked, and there were discrepancies between the benefits listed as included in the resort fee and how they were actually managed on-site.

Other fees: The resort fee is supposed to include access to the Twin Warriors Golf Club putting green, but this benefit was not clearly recognized at the golf club itself. If you plan to use these facilities, be sure to re-verify the details at check-in.

I’d say yes. I was upgraded to a Mountain View room, and the view in my photos is exactly what you can expect from that category. Even the resort-view rooms should be nice, overlooking the pools and gardens rather than a parking lot.
